The Portuguese will be able to receive medicines at home throughout the country. A new postal pharmaceutical service allows citizens to place orders with pharmacies remotely, by e-mail or telephone. They will also be able to receive medicines at home that are temporarily unavailable at their pharmacy, without having to make a second trip.
The new service is the result of a partnership between CTT - Correios de Portugal and the National Association of Pharmacies (ANF). Citizens can access the list of participating pharmacies on the websites www.farmaciasportuguesas.pt and www.ctt.pt. There they will find the e-mail addresses and telephone contacts available to place their orders at a pharmacy of their choice.
