The Super Bock group and the Levira distillery announced today that they will convert the alcohol used to produce beer into a disinfectant gel used to combat the pandemic.
To begin with, around 56,000 liters of alcohol from the production of non-alcoholic beer will be transformed by the Levira Distillery into approximately 14,000 liters of hand sanitizer, in a manufacturing process that follows the guidelines of the World Health Organization. They are destined for various hospital units in the north of the country, so that they have a greater quantity of these essential products for the prevention and treatment of infection with COVID-19.
