A Task-force on climate-related financial disclosures” (TCFD) visa desenvolver recomendações sobre divulgações voluntárias de informação financeira relacionadas com o clima, que sejam consistentes, comparáveis, confiáveis, claras e eficientes, e fornecer informações úteis à tomada de decisão para credores, seguradoras e investidores.

Em junho de 2017, a TCFD lançou três documentos chave que servem como base para descrever e apoiar a implementação das suas recomendações, especificamente:

  • o “Final Report: Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures”, que fornece o enquadramento e a estrutura geral para o reporte de informação financeira relacionada com o clima, e que se destina ao público em geral;
  • o “Annex: Implementing the Recommendations of the TCFD”, comum nível mais avançado de detalhe para apoiar as empresas a implementar as recomendações. Trata-se de um documento que irá sofrer alterações, sendo refinado ao longo do tempo
  • o “Technical Supplement: The Use of Scenario Analysis in Disclosure of Climate-Related Risks and Opportunities”.

Training provided in the context of the BCSD's carbon neutrality working group, which offers a set of courses to be developed in the last four months of 2018 and during 2019. The training aims to share knowledge about the challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions between BCSD member and non-member companies.
